Officially emigrated

The other day I went to the consulate to subscribe to ' AIRE . The consulate is in the midst of the French Concession, where several houses between two and three floors of a skyscraper suddenly appears from the name boldly, "The Center", where the 19th floor there are offices all.

And so on with address, passport, miscellaneous data, cataloging, identification and so on. All done. Questions?

Only one: in each document it comes to health coverage in Italy on a sheet of release of the consulate. Here's the surprise last-yes, but only if you are taken in Italy and the company pays contributions to the national health service. And so, without even the amazing health machine, I'm just an immigrant now.

Ok, I got support here documents (driver's license, passport, ...), proof of my residence abroad in case someone asks me about the taxes, and a little 'peace of mind in view of the Olympics. You never know the end.

If ever I needed the NHS, apart from "you know, we have to transmit this information to his municipality, the municipality to the ASL, the ASL update your status ...", I can once again become resident in one day with a new identity card. Hurrah the holes in the system.

Run away. I have a train to Beijing and incredibly I'm late.

  1. But history is difficult to regain health coverage upon return to Italy to residents abroad is a great shame.
The damage to the first beggar who comes to the hospital and you must have an employment contract to obtain it.
Maybe that if you do not have an employment contract and enter into an immigrant to Italy equalized six illegal even if you are an Italian citizen? (Seems that way)
A further proof that Italy is trying to put the patches to a formal system that is substantially water everywhere ... Well, sure that if I think my file personal income tax ... I am left with no significant comments of vulgarity ...

  3. I think if you wait for the Italian version of a book like that, then translated into the pantry, for the time that the system is currently Thu laws changed. In English I have seen here a few books, but the majority view of the jungle, here you go to the local tax unless the company is not large enough to have this knowledge in a specific department (finance).
