In China??
In China??
"What the hell are you going to do in China Ste?" Is probably the phrase I heard most often in recent months. Already, China is undoubtedly a destination unusual, even more as the first post-graduate activities. The reasons for this choice are many and range from personal to professional.
During the last years due to some association I have contracted a disease difficult to appeal, but in a defined mixture of nomadic life, curiosity, fun in the search for new paths. If this has gradually affected my career guidance, it is certain to have affected the decision to leave after graduation, at the cost of giving up the opportunities that would be proposed in the meantime.
On a personal level, two years were quite trying. It 'also a desire to catch up, or badly invested, to turn the page which can push radical choices. If this in my case has made a good push, maybe the one that allows you to throw, he never gained the upper hand on a solid analysis of what I was doing.
And leaving the intimate because for the most practical thing in overdrafts, we are professional reasons for China choosing. During the thesis I had the opportunity and reason on why the Chinese situation and the prospects for the coming years. I sincerely believe that if we have the impression that China unexpectedly break forth on the world stage, we knew little about the historical reasons that presaged many years this situation .. and above all we understood little of what will happen in the next 10 years on the world stage. This country is destined to occupy a leading position permanently, by changing the balance of power as we have previously understood (invitation to the reading of "The dragon and the eagle," Mary Weber, Bocconi University Press, EGEA 2005).
It is not lightly say, a son of the "mythical North-East", but if the gene of entrepreneurship should catch me, now I do not think Italy would be the best place to turn. A supporter of the "Chinese Dream" then? No, I do not have enough data yet, and here is another reason for my visit to China: I want to see, understand and be able directly to get an idea of this vast country, culturally very different from ours.
If these three months ended with new opportunities and the desire to stay, I found my way. Otherwise, if I'm missing so much a good cappuccino, I can still get the experience confirming with the desire to move, move, be active .. maybe taking care of those distant markets.
Hence my departure, the desire to put into question, the opportunity to test myself, the serenity to say, if anything goes wrong, however, tried to have us.
