Beautiful, sad snow (Philippines - Bangkok, coming soon!)

For too long I do not write on this blog. Various causes, surely you again in February with an equally laggard travelogue . However, the time to tell the snow in Shanghai I found a few hours after my departure from this city. But first things first.
It seems that the expensive winter this year has decided to make it big. As previously reported, China is divided between North and South more or less from the Yangtze River. Since a few miles south of Shanghai, is a city in southern rigid local vision. The most interesting impact concerns not only the economic side (to the south are rich), is the lack of heating systems. It goes to electricity: air conditioners and lamps. Incidentally, canteens where work is a cold burner.
However, right behind the Chinese New Year, when practically half China returns home, the snow began to fall. Tanta. Shanghai If this turns into picturesque scenes such as photos, are out of ice blocks, people without power (ie without heating), or people stuck in train stations (ie the place where millions of people are moving back home ). To give you some idea, half a million people were waiting for the train to Guangzhou (Canton), "only" one hundred thousand in Shanghai.
Just for context, let me add that many immigrants in the rich south to return home or leave town for good after a year of work in this period. Means that many have packed everything and shipped before taking the train. In other words, in addition to the station, no other place to go. Others have failed to find a ticket to go home (sales suspended on 30 to allow the flow of people waiting) and the Government to speed up repairs sent half a million PLA (People Liberation Army) in areas bumpy.
Minor impacts: energy rationing in some areas, tons of emergency coal shipped in some cities ( 125,000 in Guangzhou ), blocked highways, fields with frozen obvious pressure on prices in coming months (professional deformation).

When I write, the situation (always been quiet here in Shanghai) is significantly improved ( so they say ). I however, finished writing this article, I sling the backpack at home and do: at midnight and a half (first two) will bring me delicious air flights in the Philippines with four friends, arrival at the beach at midday 30 degrees, white sand, beach bungalows and drink with umbrella in hand. From there then go to Bangkok to get another caravan, already starting in Shanghai. It will be my first winter break at 30 ° C and honestly I can not wait. The damp cold of Shanghai feel it inside.
Note. The photo of the doll with real hair, I was sent from a friend of mine. Shot in front of a hairdresser. Shivers
