In China??

"What on earth are you going to do in Ste China?" Is probably the phrase I heard most often in recent months. Already, China is undoubtedly an unusual destination, even more as the first post-graduate activities. The reasons for that choice are manifold and range from personal to professional.

During the last years due to some association I contracted a disease difficult to appeal, but in a defined mixture of nomadism, curiosity, fun in the search for new paths. If this was gradually influenced my professional orientation, is certainly also influenced the choice to leave after graduation, at the cost of giving up opportunities that would be outlined in while.

On a personal level, two years were very trying. And 'the desire to recover the time lost, or badly invested, to turn the page which can push radical choices. If in my case this was a good push, perhaps one that allows you to throw, he never gained the upper hand on a sound analysis of what I was doing.

And leaving the intimate because for the most practical thing in the encroaching, we are the professional reasons for choice China. During the thesis I had the opportunity and reason on why the Chinese situation and prospects for the coming years. I sincerely believe that if we have the impression that China unexpectedly disrupt the world stage, we understood little about the historical reasons for many years portend this situation .. and above all, we understood little of what will happen in the next 10 years on the world stage. This country is destined to occupy a leading position permanently, by changing the balance of power as we have hitherto understood (invitation to reading "The dragon and the eagle," Mary Weber, Bocconi University Press, EGEA, 2005).

It is not lightly say, a son of the mythical North-East, "but if that were to seize entrepreneurial gene, now I do not think Italy would be the best place to activate it. A supporter of "Chinese Dream" then? No, I do not have enough evidence yet, and here's another reason for my visit to China: I want to see, understand, and I can directly get an idea of this immense country culturally very different from ours.

If these three months ended with new opportunities and want to stay, I find my way. Otherwise, if I had missed so much a good cappuccino, I can still get the experience confirming the desire to move, move, be active .. maybe occupations distance of those markets.
